- Mayeline A. Griffin
Mayeline A. Griffin joins St. John’s University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor/Industry Professional in the Radiologic Sciences program in the Department of Health Professions. With extensive experience spanning nearly 15 years as a registered technologist, she holds advanced certifications in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and is a Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer. As a Certified Radiology Administrator, she brings a wealth of expertise in both technical and administrative realms, ensuring the provision of top-tier education and mentorship to future generations of technologists.
Prior to joining St. John’s University, she served as the Assistant Director of Radiology at White Plains Hospital, where she oversaw comprehensive inpatient and outpatient clinical operations. With a career rooted in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), she ascended through various roles, starting as an entry-level Radiologic Technologist and progressing to leadership positions, including Assistant Manager at Westchester MSKCC.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence in leadership, patient care, and education. She eagerly anticipates inspiring and guiding students toward becoming distinguished technologists and experts in their field.
