- Eric Raymer
Eric Raymer is an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Core Studies who teaches Scientific Inquiry. He is an astrophysicist and science educator who has taught a wide range of courses in physics and mathematics at both the high school and undergraduate level. His research background is in computational astrophysics, with a focus on modeling accretion in binary stars using large-scale supercomputer simulations. His work in education is centered on making science more accessible and inclusive for science students and non-scientits alike. Current projects include using adaptive learning technology to create interactive tutorials on quantitative reasoning skills, and the development of a course on quantum mechanics designed for non-scientists.
