Christian Perring has previously taught at Dowling College, NY, University of Kentucky, Lexington and Georgetown University, DC. He is currently President of the Association for the Advancement of Philosophy and Psychiatry.

Current research interests: Philosophy of psychiatry, philosophy of medicine.
