Presidential Investiture

St. John’s University celebrates the investiture of Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. Ph.D., as its 18th President on Friday, September 24, 2021. Founded in 1870 by the Vincentian Community, St. John’s looks forward to this significant event in the University's history.

Update for attendees regarding COVID-19:

St. John's University requires that all visitors to campus be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, regardless of vaccination status, the University requires that all attendees wear masks inside campus buildings. Fully vaccinated persons may choose to remove their masks only when outdoors. Please provide a valid photo ID and proof of vaccination for entry.
