As Assistant Director of Academic Compliance, Karen Pennacchio manages the faculty data management process, ensuring compliance with the University Statutes, Collective Bargaining Agreement, and federal and state regulations. She collaborates with various campus stakeholders, including Human Resources, Institutional Research, and University Events, to maintain accurate faculty data collection and reporting. Karen also guides faculty through academic program development processes and supports accreditation activities related to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Karen was a student worker in the Office of the Registrar. In 2019, she was promoted to Department Assistant and her responsibilities expanded to include maintenance of student records, distributing and processing of graduation data, and assisting students, faculty, and staff with critical process and data requests.
Karen is a double alumna of St. John’s, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Theology & Religious Studies in May 2019 and a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management in January 2021.
