About Us
The Black Alumni Association (BAA) is dedicated to the pursuit of social empowerment by responding to the professional and personal growth of the St. John’s alumni community. Founded in 1989 by Phyllis C. Bell ’75C, ’79G, the Association also strives to promote the Vincentian mission in all of its endeavors.
Goals
The BAA provides formal and informal meeting opportunities for alumni to address a variety of educational, professional and social needs. Additionally, the Association allows for streamlined communication between alumni, putting them in touch with students, faculty, and staff to further increase awareness of BAA efforts.

Join us for the month of February as we look forward to hosting in-person, virtual, and hybrid events throughout the month.
