St. John’s University will host its Staten Island Commencement Exercises inside Carnesecca Arena on its Queens Campus on Saturday, May 19.
Out of an abundance of caution for our graduates and their families, and due to the inclement weather forecast predicted for Saturday, May 19, the St. John’s Staten Island Commencement Ceremony will take place at the Queens, NY, campus inside Carnesecca Arena at 10 a.m.

Lt. General Michael A. Rocco ’83CBA, Deputy Commandant, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, United States Marine Corps will deliver the commencement address at the ceremony.
Conrado “Bobby” Gempesaw, Ph.D., the 17th President of St. John’s University, will preside over the ceremony celebrating more than 200 students.
The Queens Undergraduate Commencement Exercises will take place as scheduled on Sunday, May 20 at 10 a.m.
