CPS Professor Sofya Weitz receives prestigious fellowship

Adjunct Professor Sofya Weitz has received the Jerome and Many Voices Fellowship for 2018-2019. The Jerome Fellowship is awarded annually to up and coming playwrights. Jerome and Many Voices Fellows spend a year in residency, working in an individualized and hands-on way with the Playwrights’ Center artistic staff with some of the most experienced and connected theater professionals in the country. Sofya has taught TVF 3203 Screenwriting, students have remarked that her screenwriting course is one of the very best. As a result of the fellowship, Sofya will be taking a leave. We wish Sofya the best as she embarks on this fellowship.
