More than ever, parents are seeing the value of an education from St. John’s, and they’re sharing their thoughts on what makes the University a wise investment for their children’s future.

In the recent video, Why St. John’s Is the Right Choice for Our Family, three St. John’s parents and their children discuss the factors they considered in choosing St. John’s University—from academics to finances to location.

While each family’s story is unique, they all share a desire to choose a college that will give their children a solid foundation for a bright future. Watch their stories in the video.

It’s an exciting time at St. John’s for many reasons. In 2013, a record 10 students received prestigious Fulbright scholarships, a testament to the quality of our undergraduates and their professors. The $12.6 million in research and academic grants awarded to faculty and administrators in fiscal year 2013 is another record for the University, and this fall, our storied basketball team will compete in a revitalized BIG EAST Conference at Madison Square Garden.

With more than 100 academic programs designed to prepare students for success, St. John’s is uniquely positioned to provide the right fit for students from both near and far. To learn more about St. John’s University, we invite you to attend our upcoming Open House.
