Building on the excitement of Red Storm sports, St. John’s will introduce a new Public Service Announcement during its upcoming men’s and women’s basketball games that highlights some of the University’s proudest institutional successes this year.
The PSA will air with games televised on CBS, ESPN networks, MSG and in other venues. It debuts on SNY’s “Red Storm Report,” at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1. The PSA airs during basketball games starting Saturday, February 2, when the women’s team faces UCONN and the men take on Georgetown.
Featuring 70 cheering St. John’s students and shot this past December in Carnesecca Arena, the 30-second spot shares achievements like these: St. John’s ranking among The Princeton Review’s “Best 377 Colleges”; seven students winning Fulbright awards; and The Wall Street Journal’s placing the University among 100 institutions “most likely to help students land a job in key careers and professions.”
