VIP Open Nomination Period

The nomination period for the 2020 Values and Inclusion Program (VIP) runs from March 2 through 13. As you may remember from last year’s program launch, the goal of the VIP is to acknowledge and celebrate employees who demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, thereby emphasizing and promulgating the University’s core values: Truth, Love, Respect, Opportunity, Excellence, and Service. All faculty, administrators, and staff are eligible for nomination and all campuses are encouraged to participate.

During the current nomination period, the form will be accessible online from March 2 through 13. Forms are also available in the Office of Human Resources, located in the University Center, Suite C.

All eligible employees who are nominated are formally recognized. The review committee selects three nominees to be the recipients of special recognition during the University’s annual Employee Recognition Convocation. Additional program information is available here.

In its inaugural year last spring, 26 VIPs were nominated and received a certificate, gift, and recognition at a special event. As we reopen the program for 2020, we are excited to learn of the many ways our employees demonstrate their commitment to an inclusive St. John’s.
