- Tobin Dean, Professor and Student Featured in Financial Times
This week has been an excellent one for The Peter J. Tobin College of Business in the news. The College achieved great exposure in the world’s leading global business publication.
Dean Norean R. Sharpe, Ph.D., was quoted, and a student featured prominently, in a Financial Times article that appeared online Friday, June 14 and on page 13 in the print edition of Monday, June 17. In the article, Dean Sharpe shares her thoughts on diversity in business education with Jonathan Moules, the FT’s business education correspondent. The story also includes an interview with MBA student Matthew Chan, who will be the first member of his immediate family to attain this degree.

In addition, a letter by Associate Professor of Economics Aleksandr V. Gevorkyan, Ph.D., about a recent FT column on Poland’s economic transformation after the fall of communism was published online Thursday, June 13 and in print on Friday, June 14.
