- Support for Coping with Racial Stress
The ongoing trial of Derek Chauvin, the former police officer accused in the death of George Floyd, may cause many people to experience a range of emotions and reactions. The killing of Daunte Wright, 10 miles from where George Floyd was killed, may compound those feelings. We know this is a challenging time and want to offer you support.
We encourage you to practice self-care and moderate media consumption to a level that maintains balance; the goal is to stay informed without experiencing overwhelming stress.
Below are links to several resources that can help you manage the emotions that might surface.
