Support Available in Aftermath of Colorado Springs Mass Shooting

In the wake of the tragic shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs, CO, on November 19, the Office of Human Resources recognizes the direct or indirect impact it may have on you, your colleagues, or loved ones. The office wishes to remind employees of the free resources available from our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which includes counselors who are available 24/7 to confidentially address the full range of emotions and concerns that may arise.

Attached, we have included information from our EAP provider, Corporate Counseling Associates (CCA), on the topics of managing traumatic stress, coping with grief after community violence, and how to support impacted colleagues and loves ones. Also included is a LGBTQIA+ mental health and self-care resource guide. As a reminder, EAP services are free for employees and their families.
