- St. John’s University Manhattan campus to offer four undergraduate degree programs
Manhattan – St. John’s University has announced plans to offer a four-year undergraduate Manhattan curricular path for completion of Bachelor of Science degrees in Business, International Management, Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance. Beginning in Fall 2025 with a new cohort of first-year students, students may complete their undergraduate degree-completion on the Manhattan campus.
“We have recognized the value for many of our students to offer an experience entirely in Manhattan,” shared Maciek Nowak, Dean of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business. "Students will receive the same high-quality support services of advising, career mentorship, and extracurricular activities while also maintaining access to the Queens' campus courses and offerings if desired."
Located at 101 Astor Place in Manhattan’s East Village, the campus continues to be the home to the Greenberg School of Risk Management, with juniors, seniors, and graduate students taking classes in actuarial science, risk management and insurance. Greenberg is a school within St. John’s University’s Peter J. Tobin College of Business which also offers Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Economics, Business, Finance, Management, International Management, Marketing and Accounting on their Queens campus.
St. John’s University will not be offering Manhattan housing or dining plan options as the program strives to meet the needs of students seeking a convenient and inclusive Manhattan commuter experience. The new curricular path is being designed specifically to accommodate new and future students to complete their degree in Manhattan with minimal on-line courses.
Applications are currently open for new students interested in pursuing any of those four majors entirely on the Manhattan campus.
