On Saturday, February 11, St. John’s will celebrate Johnnies Day, an innovative way for members of our community to show their affection for the University by sharing a selfie, a memory, or a moment on social media using the hashtags #SJUElevates and #JohnniesDay and tagging @stjohnsu. When you do, you will automatically be entered to win a $1,000 Visa® gift card through our Johnnies Day social sharing contest.

Two highlights of Johnnies Day are home games for the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams:

  • The Men’s Basketball team takes on the Providence Friars at Madison Square Garden at noon. Special employee appreciation ticket pricing is available at Ticketmaster.

    Be sure to explore our Penn Station Domination in and around Penn Station’s rotunda. We will hand out St. John’s T-shirts, rally towels, and treats in the rotunda until tipoff. You can also meet up with fellow St. John’s fans pregame at Stout NYC for the 1870 Court Tailgate beginning at 10:30 a.m.
