St. John’s Students to Compete in BIG EAST Research Poster Symposium

The BIG EAST Conference will host their second annual BIG EAST Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, March 11, the morning of the Men’s Basketball Tournament championship game. All 11 BIG EAST member institutions will face off in an academic competition featuring research projects ranging across a variety of scholarly disciplines. 

This year St. John’s has five research project teams of undergraduates competing in the symposium and three faculty members serving as judges. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the BIG EAST Championship game later in the day. More importantly, each research project team will showcase their research in “The World’s Most Famous Arena!”
