Spring 2020 Event Calendar—Queens and Staten Island, NY, campuses

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is delighted to announce the schedule for our Spring 2020 events.

The support of the entire University community is needed for our Accepted Student Day events scheduled for Saturday, April 4, on the Queens, NY, campus, and on Saturday, April 18, on the Staten Island, NY, campus. The support of the faculty is needed during our Overnight Shadow (Queens only) and Shadow Day programs on both campuses through February, March, and April, during which time many of our accepted students will attend classes with some of your current students. 

Often times our accepted students and/or their parents are interested in speaking with faculty members, department chairs, or deans regarding their intended major while on campus for an event. While we do our best to field all questions, if we feel that connecting them with an academic will assist them in making their ultimate decision to enroll, we will likely reach out to your office. We appreciate the support and willingness to meet with these students in an effort to convert every accepted student to a Johnny.

Please use this memo as a convenient “save the date” listing of these events. We will follow up with further details as Accepted Student Day nears.
