Project Summary:
New York Presbyterian Queens is looking for Research Volunteers to assist Investigators and Research Coordinators implement their research study projects.
- Data collection
- Date entry
- Statistical analysis
- Subject identification in preparation for PI recruitment
- Regulatory management
- Specimen processing
- Participates in regular dept. research meetings
- Reports on status of research activities
- Performs additional function incidental to research activities
TERMS OF SERVICE
Schedules and time commitments can be flexible although they are established and agreed upon by the research volunteer and principal investigator.
Qualifications:
- Good organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
- Undergraduate or Graduate student, foreign graduates
- Strong computer skills
- Willingness to take initiative
- Ability to work independently and to follow instructions
Job Responsibilities:
CURRENT PROJECTS
- Volunteers needed for: Screening, Patient Recruitment, Student Implementation, Data Management, Statistical Analysis.
- New techniques to treat acute Intracerebral Hemorrhage
