Project Summary:
I am an assistant professor at St. John's CCPS Computer Science, Math, Science department. I have a few ideas on how to extend a Milcom19 conference paper titled "Privacy-preserving Crowd-sensing for Dynamic Spectrum Access". I am looking for willing, and talented programmers to collaborate. In specific, I want to use the first 2-3 weeks of our collaboration to discuss the nature of the paper and bring you up to speed with what I am doing. Then I will explain my new ideas and see if you would be willing to work along with me to code in either Java/Python a portion of the new experiments. The results from these experiments, along with my contributions will be used for a joint publication in an arbitrary IEEE journal. Publishing in conferences, journals is an excellent method to pave the road for graduate (Ph.D) program.
Qualifications:
Being optimistic, inquisitive, organized and committed to the 3hrs/week pace. Good coding and verbal communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Think of this as a "research assistant-ship" responsibility i.e., you'll be working along with me to push the latest/greatest research forward through your coding contribution.
