Nancy DiTunnariello, Ph.D., Collins College of Professional Studies Assistant Professor of Mass Communication Profiled in "The Miraculous Medal Shrine"

Nancy DiTunnariello, Ph.D., Collins College of Professional Studies Assistant Professor of Mass Communication was profiled in "The Miraculous Medal Shrine’s" November 2021 publication, “The Message."

In the article, titled The Delightful, Dedicated Dr. D., Dr. DiTunnariello talks about how she, a daughter of Italian immigrants, has always appreciated St. John’s mission to provide educational opportunities to children of immigrants. Dr. DiTunnariello also talks about how she applied for a position at St. John's because it is a University that instills Vincentian values not only in her students, but as well as herself.

"I feel this experience has reconnected me to my faith, which I incorporate into my teaching,” reflects Nancy.

This is most obvious in her teaching style. Her classroom environment matches seamlessly with the Vincentian charism intertwined with relevant, current-day topics.
