- May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Dear Colleagues,
This past year presented many different challenges and obstacles that tested our strength and resiliency. The dual pandemics of COVID-19 and racism forced us to cope with situations we never even imagined, and a lot of us struggled with our mental health as a result.
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, we will provide you with tip sheets, resource guides, and free webinars hosted by our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) throughout the month.
Check out “31 Tips to Work on Your Wellness”—one for each day in May—and other resources on our EAP webpage. In addition, register for the first free webinar of the month for strategies to cope effectively during unprecedented stressful times:
“Practicing Resiliency during Times of Uncertainty”
Wednesday, May 5, from 2 to 3 p.m.
As a reminder, the EAP offers you and your family free, confidential, 24/7 access to in-the-moment support and referrals to professional counseling for any issue. The EAP also provides practical work-life assistance to help manage your to-do list—from locating a pet sitter to researching elder care options to budgeting for a major life event. The EAP can be reached by calling 800-833-8707 or by visiting www.myccaonline.com (company code: stjohns).
