Project Summary:
Multiple 6-Month Internship Positions Available
HOURS/SALARY: 6-12 hours weekly in exchange for college credit (based on departmental approval).

(1) Philosophy & Education Interns
(2) Community & Technology Intern
(3) Hellenic Studies Intern
(4) Web/Media Interns

Required Qualifications:
-- Strong Interpersonal Skills. A reliable team player.
-- Fluent in English with exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
-- Exceptional Organizational Skills.
-- Experience conducting basic research.
-- Must be available to meet on Wednesdays.
-- Familiarity with Wix and standard social media platforms.
-- Students applying must have GPA of 3.6 or higher and major in a related field of study and be committed to the completion to a 3- or 6-month internship to qualify for college credit.*

* Receipt of college credit is contingent on department/university policies and approval.

Preferred Qualifications:
-- Fluent in Greek, with exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

Job Descriptions: 
(1) Philosophy & Education Interns: Student will assist in preliminary research for the construction of a field report and literary review addressing issues in one of two projects on learning environments and technology.
-- Assist in preliminary library research and preparation of online surveys.
-- Assist in testing/reviewing available technology to determine efficacy.
-- Assist in recording/sorting/storing data/research.
-- Related administrative/networking tasks as needed.

(2) Community & Technology Intern: Student will assist in preliminary research for the identification of technological resources that are best suited for two types of learning communities. Student will attend year-end STEM conference.
-- Assist in preliminary library research and preparation of online surveys.
-- Assist in identifying resources that will benefit students studying here and overseas.
-- Assist in identifying prime scholars and effective resources.
-- Related administrative/networking tasks as needed.

(3) Hellenic Studies Intern: Student will assist in a student-based discussion forum to outline current events and major topics in the area of Hellenic Studies. Students will write short papers about their findings, which will be shared in an online student platform designed for students in Hellenic Studies throughout the tri-state area.
-- Assist in library research and preparing online surveys.
-- Assist in identifying resources that will benefit Hellenic communities.
-- Assist in collaboration with major scholarly communities to outline topics of interest.
-- Conduct peer-reviews to outline topics of interest to today's young professionals.
-- Related administrative/networking tasks as needed.

(4) Web/Media Interns: Student will assist in programming and development for a nonprofit advisory page, with exposure to seasoned media/development specialists.
-- Assist in preliminary research for the design of online programming, publications and surveys.
-- Assist in identifying, procuring and editing relevant resources from new authors, artists, etc.
-- Related administrative/networking tasks as needed.
