- Holocaust Survivor to Speak
In commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Ha'Shoah), the Interfaith Council and Jewish Students Association are honored to present
A Talk with Holocaust Survivor Manny Korman
Date: Monday, April 17
Time: 2–3:15 p.m.
Location: St. Albert Hall Amphitheater, Room B-70
Manny Korman and his brother were separated from their parents during World War II and spent their formative years in a world completely different from that which they had known as younger children. The family’s miraculous reunion in the United States is evidence of the good-hearted upstanders who saved countless lives. Far too many stood by and said nothing.
Today Manny is a retired educator who resides in Great Neck, NY. He devotes much of his time to sharing his experience with students and emphasizing the importance of speaking out against injustice.
