Employee Appreciation Events

St. John’s University and Teachers Federal Credit Union wish to celebrate all employees with Employee Appreciation Days to be held from Monday, December 5 to Friday, December 9. 

Monday, December 5: Manhattan campus employees have lunch on us!
On the Manhattan campus, employees can pick up a complimentary, grab-n-go style lunch in Room 107 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Monday, December 5: Winter Carnival
Employees and their families can register here to attend the annual tree lighting and fireworks starting at 7 p.m. on the Great Lawn on the Queens campus, co-hosted by Alumni Relations and Campus Ministry. Enjoy hot cocoa and take a selfie with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Tuesday, December 6: Who doesn’t love a food truck?
Queens, NY, campus employees are welcome to have lunch on us. Mama’s Cuban Kitchen will be in front of the University Center from noon to 1:15 p.m. and will move to the ROTC building from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Show your employee ID and pick up your complimentary lunch. Representatives from the Office of Human Resources will be on hand to welcome you.

Wednesday, December 7: Staten Island campus employees have lunch on us!
On the Staten Island campus, employees can pick up a complimentary, grab-n-go style lunch in the Kiernan Suite, Kelleher Center, from noon to 2 p.m.

St. John’s Employee Special Ticket Offer for Men’s and Women’s Basketball!

Wednesday, December 7: Men’s Basketball 
Cheer on the St. John’s Men’s Basketball team as they take on DePaul in Carnesecca Arena at 6:30 p.m. Employees can purchase up to eight tickets for only $15 each. Other game tickets are also being discounted for employees during January and February at Madison Square Garden, as St. John’s takes on Villanova on January 20, Georgetown on January 29, and Creighton on February 18. Get your tickets for all special pricing games.

Thursday, December 8: Women’s Basketball
Show your Red Storm spirit at the St. John’s Women's Basketball game against Iona in Carnesecca Arena at 7 p.m. Employees can purchase tickets for only $5 each. In addition, a ticket special is being offered for the Women’s Basketball game against UConn at UBS Arena on January 11. 

Thursday, December 8: Office Storm!
On the Queens campus, Johnny Thunderbird and surprise guests will visit offices with giveaways for employees.

Friday, December 9: Christmas Mass and Employee Reception
Join the University Community at 12:15 p.m. for Mass in St. Thomas More Church, followed by a reception for employees at 1:15 p.m. in Taffner Field House.
