St. John’s University is a drug-free workplace and campus; we share this annual reminder with all employees about related federal laws and University policy. Please review the St. John’s University Drug-Free Campus Guidelines. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with this resource and use it as a reference guide related to our Statement on a Drug-Free Workplace and Drug and Alcohol Policy while you are a member of the St. John’s community.
Periodically, the Office of Human Resources (HR), in conjunction with the Employee Assistance Program, runs a free Drug-Free Workplace Education workshop for all employees. The next workshop will be offered virtually on October 12. Click here to register.
With the academic year underway, I remind administrators and staff to use the HR website to access a range of information about their employment, from payroll to benefits and forms to policies. Current policies are found in the Human Resources Policy Manual. Faculty should reference the Faculty Policies tab located near the bottom of the Human Resources Policy Manual home page.
