DATA-DRIVEN SCIENCE AND AI CONFERENCE was held at the Florida Atlantic University on May 11th. Dr. Syed Ahmad Chan Bukhari, Asst. Professor & Director Healthcare Informatics in the Collins College of Professional Studies was invited as an inhibited speaker. He presented his research work titled: Socio-technical Approach to Reduce the Digital Divide: A Case of Biomedical Content Authoring and Publishing. The session was attended by students, scientists, and industry members.
Dr. Bukahri's research was on information retrieval techniques and the significant barriers that exist to seeking quick access to online biomedical information. His research focused on enhancing the existing infrastructure by improving the two key search challenges: improving semantic enrichment accuracy and preserving content-level semantics to foster the semantic search at the content publishing.
