- Collins College of Professional Studies CSMS Department Presents at the 35th Florida Artificial Intelligent Research Society Conference (FLAIRS-35)
Dr. Fazel Keshtkar, an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics and Science and Dr. Syed Ahmad Chan Bukhari, Assistant Professor and Director of Healthcare Informatics recently participated in the 35th Florida Artificial Intelligent Research Society Conference (FLAIRS-35).Their participation in this conference was a result of two papers they recently researched and published in FLAIRS titled: Biomedical Scholarly Article Editing and Sharing using Holistic Semantic Uplifting Approach and A Sociotechnical Framework for Semantic Biomedical Content Authoring and Publishing. Their papers were presented by student "Steve F. Mbouadeu" and research scholar Asim Abbas. Dr. Keshtkar is also a FLAIRS-35 Conference program chair and Organizer Committee and Chair and Organizer of Applied Natural Language Processing Special Track.
FLAIRS-35 is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) conference presenting and discussing state of the art Artificial Intelligence and related research. Events include invited speakers, special tracks, tutorials, and presentations of papers, posters, and awards. Traditionally, FLAIRS features not only some of the world’s leading researchers in AI around the world and excellent speakers, but also quality submissions from students. This year FLAIRS was held in Jensen Beach, Florida, from May 15th-18th, 2022.
