- Celebrating Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month
Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month is an annual celebration from September 15 to October 15 that pays tribute to the generations of Hispanic and Latinx Americans who have enriched our nation and inspired others.
For St. John’s University employees who would like to honor, support, or learn more about the significance of this observance, the University’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, Corporate Counseling Associates, Inc., has compiled a number of ways to celebrate, from connecting with Hispanic and Latinx history and culture, to supporting Hispanic and Latinx influencers and businesses.
In addition, the University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is hosting a series of events throughout Hispanic and Latinx Heritage month under the theme, “¡Un Otoño Latinx con OMA! (A Latinx Fall with OMA!).” All are welcome to participate.
However you choose to commemorate Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month, we hope your celebrations are safe and meaningful.
