- Annual Policy Updates
Annually, the Office of Human Resources issues a notice to all employees of policy updates and changes. Supervisors recently received an email communication detailing these changes.
During the past year, Human Resources worked with the appropriate departments to update several policies. These updates include changes reviewed and approved by the University’s Policy Review Committee, as well as minor revisions made for clarity, accuracy and compliance. In addition, one new policy was introduced in conjunction with a new family leave law: policy #509 New York Paid Family Leave. You will find the link to this new policy in the list below.
Please note, the most up-to-date version of the Human Resources Policy Manual is online. Policy manuals are not distributed in hard copy. As policy changes are approved throughout the year, the updated policies are posted online and can be located easily under the Recent Policy Updates tab on the HR policy home page. You should not wait for the annual notice to find out about policy changes.
