We’re presenting four courses on Saturday, and one course on Sunday. Sunday’s course is a continuation of the last course presented on Saturday. Attorneys can attend the whole weekend, Saturday only, or Sunday only.

Session 1: Ethical Issues for the Modern-Day Attorney
In this session, our speaker will discuss emerging issues for the everyday attorney. Topics will include common missteps that could affect your license, why you need to be proactive about your escrow account, and legal ethics and social media.

From Contract Through Closing/Unearthing the Landmines Buried in a New York Residential Real Estate Contract
Presented over two days, in conjunction with St. John’s Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law, this program will cover all you need to know about real estate closings and more. The panelists, comprised of leading attorneys in the field, will cover many new topics, such as the latest PCDA Legislation, the NAR Decision, the new TOD Deeds, recent time of the essence cases, the effect of bankruptcy on real estate, and more. The Saturday session qualifies for 3 Practice credits and 2 Skills credits. The Sunday session qualifies for 3 Practice credits and 4 Skills credits.
Cost
The cost for the entire weekend is $400. The cost to attend for one day only is $225.
Hardship discounts are available to qualifying registrants, including a 50% discount for St. John's Law classes of 2023 and 2024. Other participants may apply for a 10% hardship discount with demonstrated need.
Registration
Please register online to attend our Spring CLE Weekend by Wednesday, April 23, 2025. (There will be a $100 surcharge for registrants at the door.) We'll email registrants the course handouts on Friday, April 25, 2025. Please bring your own computer.
