The Photography Minor introduces students to the creative and intellectual properties of photographic practices, emphasizing using the camera as a tool for communication and self-expression. Students will explore a variety of photographic techniques with the opportunity to use both digital and analog processes through selected electives. The Photo Minor is an excellent addition to any major as it will strengthen observational skills and help students create effective visual documentations of the world around them, which in turn informs and enriches a variety of majors, especially English, Journalism, Education, Psychology, Sociology, History, and the sciences.
