The 5-Year Dual Degree in Childhood Education and TESOL equips graduates to excel in culturally and linguistically diverse classrooms and ensures compliance with New York State regulations for English Language Learners. This program blends a strong foundation in applied linguistics with practical experience, integrating theoretical knowledge with field-based practice. Graduates are prepared for leadership through reflective teaching and collaboration with colleagues, students, and communities.

The BSEd/MSEd in Childhood Education and TESOL program readies graduates for multicultural and linguistically diverse education settings by integrating dual fieldwork and student teaching experiences with multiple visits to schools with English Language Learners.
