The GradSlideshow celebrates graduates by providing a personalized slide. While the names of graduates will not be read during the virtual ceremony, the slideshow will recognize and honor each individual graduate. Slides are available for download and are alphabetized by last name.
NOTE: The names listed in the GradSlideshow are not an official listing of degree recipients. Only those students who have completed all degree requirements by May 18, 2020, appear in the GradSlideshow.

Message from the Dean
Dear Graduates:
On behalf of The School of Education community at St. John’s University, I want to extend my sincere congratulations to The School of Education Class of 2020. I am sure this has been a remarkable, long journey with some twists and turns—but you have persevered.
Your time in The School of Education has prepared you to develop as scholars deeply rooted in our Vincentian mission of empathy, global harmony, and compassionate concern for others. It has allowed you to utilize the intellectual standards essential to monitor your thinking. According to critical thinking experts, the late Richard Paul, Ph.D., and Linda Elder, Ph.D., it is these standards that become your “inner voice guiding you to reason better.”
These standards, coupled with the Vincentian core values, provide you with a powerful foundation as you become advocates for systemic change. With this foundation, as a professional, researcher, or scholar, you will challenge the status quo and explore ideas to help you solve complex problems.
Your academic contributions and desire to continuously learn have been invaluable to The School of Education and we are grateful for the legacy that you leave behind. Although you are graduating, you will always be a Johnnie. We encourage you to stay connected with our faculty, administrators, and staff. Please keep us informed of your many achievements.
We sincerely hope that you have enjoyed your time learning, developing, and growing—we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish after graduation.
