Student Government, Inc. is a corporation ran by the student body, moderated by administration, and elected by our peers. Student Government functions as the governing body of all student clubs and organizations on campus as well as being the voice of the student body by acting as liaisons with the administration of the University. Student Government is also responsible for allocating budgets to all the students clubs and organizations and to make certain all the rules and regulations of the university and student government are upheld. Student government, in conjunction with student union, holds many events on campus encompassing charity, social, and educational events including various public speakers. Meetings are open to all students and any concerns they may have should be voiced in this arena. Student government officers have specific office hours and can always be found in the Student Government office which is located in the Campus Center B13. Student Government holds elections biannually in which the whole student body is welcome to run, as long as a student is in good academic standing.
