Student Learning Outcomes
Students will transition smoothly into the college environment and gain a sense of community through a variety of student-centered programs and services;
Students will learn to co-exist, adhere to the student code of conduct and embrace the Judeo-Christian ideals of respect for the rights and dignity of every person;
Students will gain a sense of civility and citizenship through the enhancement of their personal, social, moral and ethnical development;
Students will gain a greater awareness of student mental health issues and learn to recognize situations that are a threat to their emotional well-being;
Students will develop a better understanding of physical health, wellness and fitness issues through healthy lifestyle programs and services;
Students will develop a sense of responsibility to social justice issues and service to the others both in and out of the classroom;
Students will enhance their knowledge of personal, organizational and societal leadership through the development of analytical skills, critical thinking and theoretical leadership knowledge;
Students will gain a greater awareness of and appreciation for the cultural and performing arts in New York City;
