For Women Only is highly sought after and is the long awaited
program That looks at the challenges and issues women face in a
male dominated society as presented by a man. A man you say? Yes,
Brent Scarpo has a unique perspective on the issues and challenges
that women face in society and empowers women to take a unique
introspection of their lives. Brent has great admiration for women
and their role in society for he was raised by a single, divorced
mother during a time when it was not fashionable to be so.
Brent Scarpo has over 20 years of experience as an educator,
producer, writer, director and casting director in Hollywood. He
directed and produced the educational documentary film Journey to a
Hate Free Millennium. The fi lm explores hate in modern society and
focuses on the Matthew Shepard tragedy, the dragging death of James
Byrd, Jr., and the student shootings at Columbine High School.
Prior to Brent’s speaking career, he founded the nonprofi t New
Light Media while working in the entertainment industry in
Hollywood as a casting director for six years, Mr. Scarpo
discovered and supplied talent for motion pictures, television
projects, commercials, infomercials and much more. He has worked on
such films as The Shawshank Redemption, That Thing You Do and
Airforce One. Mr. Scarpo also wrote and was featured in “Christmas
Miracles”— a holiday special for ABC. In 1998, he produced,
directed and starred in the well-received and acclaimed play, The
Boys Next Door.
