cultural awareness and events on the Queens campus. The Gaelic
Society works to provide community service opportunities through
international programs. The Gaelic Society creates a network of
support and friendship amongst its members and promotes community
building throughout the Student Body.
Brief Description of the Organization
The Gaelic Society works to promote understanding and appreciation
of the Irish/English culture. Through campus events and community
service we work to bring students together and to form strong bonds
of friendship amongst our members. To serve the community on an
international level, the Gaelic Society works with many different
programs to raise money and supplies for people all over the world.
Each Year, the Society is proud to represent St. John's University
in the New York City St. Patrick's day Parade.
