The St. John's University women's basketball team defeated
Villanova, 65-55, at Madison Square Garden Saturday afternoon. The
St. John's victory snapped a seven-game Wildcat win streak in the
series and propelled the Red Storm to its best conference start
since the 1990-91 season at 5-2. St. John's remains unbeaten at
home in 2005-06 with a perfect 7-0 record.
