St. John's University enjoys a long history as a favorite destination for transfer students from accredited two-year colleges. This is especially true of two-year colleges in the New York metropolitan area, whose students are well aware of St. John's reputation for academic excellence, vibrant campus life and a nurturing environment. In December, St. John's strengthened this legacy by signing a formal Transfer Articulation Agreement with Rockland Community College, in Suffern, N.Y.
