The School of Education Hosts the Annual Carol Gresser Forum

October 21, 2008 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Queens Campus

The School of Education at St. John’s University established the Carol Gresser Forum in 1998.  Held twice a year, the forum is named for the former President of the New York City Board of Education and Queens resident, who now serves as a professor of education here at St. John's.

Please join us as we welcome Joel I. Klein, Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, the largest public school system in the United States with over 1.1 million students in over 1,420 schools. Mr. Klein will be our guest speaker for the first Carol Gresser Forum for the 2008 – 2009 academic year.
