IMPORTANT QUEENS LIBRARY CLOSURE AND SERVICE INFORMATION
July 23, 2008
ST. AUGUSTINE HALL IS NOW CLOSED
UNTIL AUGUST 25 FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS.
Limited in-person library services will be available at the
Asian Library in Sun Yat Sen Hall during this time. Check back here
for updates about resumption of library services in St. Augustine
Hall.
Online services such as Ask us!, eReserves, ILL request
submission will continue uninterrupted. Access to
online databases, ejournals, etc. will be accessible as usual
via the Libraries’

In-person services offered at the Asian Library:
- Reference: librarians are available to assist
with research questions and can help locate print items in area
libraries or help request items through interlibrary
loan.
- Reserve: reserve staff are available to
provide print materials the faculty have placed on reserve for
summer courses. Electronic resrves is operating normally.
- Interlibrary Loan: ILL staff are available to
provide assistance in locating and requesting print materials from
other libraries.
Service hours in the Asian Library:
- Monday-Thursday, 9:00am - 4:30pm
- CLOSED Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Services and resources we are unable to offer
at this time in the Asian Library:
- No computer workstations for patrons (visit the computer lab in
Sullivan Hall instead)
- No printing from computers (available at Sullivan computer
lab)
- No photocopying
- No access to print, video, multimedia, IMC, and archives
collections
- No study areas
We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to continue
providing library services during renovations in St. Augustine
Hall.
