Dr. Chiang-Nan ChaoProfessor of Management
Dr. Chao has received more than 20 academic fellowships, rewards
and research grants from various organizations, i.e.,
The
National Association of Purchasing Management, China's High Tech
Continuing Education Association, The United Nations, The World
Bank, etc. He has actively participated in many academic
organizations. He has been interviewed on several occasions at
Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC), Voice of America,
China Press, Mirror, Sinovision, a PBS {31} television channel
in New York.
His more thanĀ 120 articles, books, book chapters, conference
papers, and cases have been published in
Euro-Asia Business
Review, Columbia Journal of World Business, Canadian Journal of
Administrative Sciences, International Journal of Purchasing and
Materials Management, International Journal of Physical
Distribution and Logistics Management, Journal of Strategic
Marketing, Journal of Education for Business, Industrial Marketing
Management, Organizations and People, Journal of Teaching in
International Business, etc. In addition, he serves as a
reviewer for several journals and academic associations. He has
given lectures and conducted seminars on more than 100 occasions at
universities, academic associations and business organizations
nationally and internationally, while also being a member in a
dozen of academic associations. He is also a consultant for many
U.S. corporations and Chinese government ministries and
corporations. His research interests are in performance evaluation
and international business. He serves as a coordinator for Advanced
Management Training Programs which has graduated more than 500
senior level managers. He is currently working with the China State
Council to assist in state owned enterprises.
