Actuarial Science Associates and Fellows Exam Preparation Courses

Associate and Fellow status conferred by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) represent a professional's commitment to and standing within the insurance, pension and employee benefits consulting industries. Individuals who earn these memberships can significantly enhance their professional opportunities within the industry. The Center for Professional Education offers a comprehensive program designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to pass the SOA- and CAS-administered national/international exams, leading to the following designations:
  • Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA)
  • Associate, Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
  • Fellow, Society of Actuaries (FSA)
  • Fellow, Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)

Students receive assistance in preparing for the national exams and earning professional designations, and often have higher pass ratios than the national average.

The Center maintains a policy that permits students who do not pass the exams to re-take courses free of tuition charges within two months of the course's end, provided that the student attended at least 80 percent of the classes.

The Faculty
All instructors have Professional Memberships in the SOA and CAS.
